There is buzz that coach George Gwozdecky, who was let go after 19 seasons at Denver University, has been spotted on the campus at Alabama-Huntsville which is looking for a head coach this season. Denver U had won 20 or more games for 12 straight seasons but after the Pioneers were eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Gwozdecky was called in and let go.

Instead, player-coach Micah Sanford and the Tour Rebels pro team will compete in the AAU Nationals in Huntington Beach, California. The Tour Rebels youth teams will be at the WIHA Finals at The Rinks in Irvine, California.
