Las Vegas – Hometown skater Beau Ricketts scored two goals including the game winner in OT as the WSHL Las Vegas Storm stunned the Ontario Avalanche 4-3 at the Las Vegas Ice Center. Ricketts scored his 9th, 10th goals of the season and was selected Star of the Game. Felix Brunner and Kyle Pacheco also scored for Las Vegas. It was Kyle’s big third period goal which tied the game 3-3 in regulation. The Storm got a great effort from goalie Patrik Jokela. This was one of the Storm’s greatest wins of the season. Ontario came into town with a 7-3-3 record. The Storm, in its first season, is 9-9-1.
