Who Will Win the Super Bowl? Our Experts Know the Score

27 Tuesday Jan 2015

Who wins –  the Patriots or the Seahawks on Sunday. Our experts are on the inside and know who will win….

================================

Steve Allen, Las Vegas hockey dad: “Pats by six, better coach, Brady gets the win.”

Rosie Carlo, Las Vegas hockey mom whose son Vito plays for AAA West Coast Renegades 16u in snowy Park City, Utah: “My pick for the Super Bowl is the Seahawks. I couldn’t go with the Patriots because I have too many friends up near Seattle and they would have my head on a platter if I picked New England. LOL. I think the score will be 24-10.

Arturo Castro, UNLV defenseman: “I think the Patriots have the better shot. Richard Sherman was hurt last game so their defense will be a bit off. I am going for the Patriots all the way! Close game, 34-31.”

Dan Corsatea, owner, Las Vegas Roller Hockey Arena, Sahara Ave: “Seahawks win 24-20. Defense always wins Championships!”

Richie Crossley, the very popular Las Vegas defenseman: “I am going to say Patriots 35-33. I think they are just a better overall team.”

Matt Edlin, president, Las Vegas Jr Wranglers: “Patriots 35, Seahawks 10. Little bias for me as I am from the Boston area. They play better too when the footballs have the correct amount of air in them…… just kidding about the air pressure!”

Chris Francis, ECHL Alaska Aces and one of the all-time Las Vegas goal scorers: “Seahawks 31-21 because they will repeat and I want to see a repeat for Russell Wilson. Plus my Mom is with me in Alaska watching our games and says hello to all.”

Luke Fundator, Las Vegas hockey dad whose son Luke is goalie for the AA Las Vegas Jr Wranglers Bantam AA team:  “Patriots, 27-24, Brady and Belichick don’t like being told they have flat footballs. Patriot combo of Brady to Gronk will be the difference.”

Anthony Greener, one of UNLV’s greatest captains, team leader at all levels of play and now a Las Vegas coach: “I can’t watch the Super Bowl LOL I’m sick after the Packers lost like that. I am a diehard Packers fan. I still cannot even watch ESPN and all of those replays of the last Packers game. But now to the Big Game: I think it will be a close but the Pats will find a way to win although I’m not sure how they will do it.”

Gabe Gauthier, head coach, WSHL Las Vegas Storm: “Pats will win. I feel they are more of a complete powerhouse team.”

Connor Haney, the great Las Vegas defenseman who played three seasons for the Seattle Totems where he was a captain and a phenominal player on power plays:  “I lived and played hockey in Seattle for three years. So when they won in the playoffs and got into the Super Bowl I knew right away who was I going to pick: Seattle by 10.”

JJ Hartman, UNLV head coach: “Seattle 42-21 because D wins games.”

George Kemper, hockey dad of Geoff Kemper who played 1999-2001 with the AAA San Diego Jr Gulls: “Seahawks win 27-17 — defense counts the most in the Big Game.”

Orlando Montoya, Las Vegas hockey dad who son Ethan is skating this season for AAA Ontario Avalanche 18u: “Seahawks 24-13. The Seahawks are much more aggressive.”

Will Munson, AAA San Diego Jr Gulls and NAHL Billings Bulls: “Seattle 31-28 because I really don’t care for the Patriots coach.”

Rob Pallin, Las Vegas hockey coach who called in from Hungary where he is coaching Sapa Fehervar AV19: “I have to go with Tom Brady.  The score will be 24-17.”

Steve Pochiro, hockey dad of Las Vegas’ Zach Pochiro who is playing with the WHL Prince George Cougars:  “Zach likes the Patriots. He thinks Tom Brady is more poised and mature. The Pats win 35-24.”

Nick Robone, voted 2014 Vegas Hockey Roller Coach of the Year and is the head coach of the national power UNLV Rebels roller team: “Seattle 27-17. I am a defensive kind of a guy and their defense is good.”

Tony Robone, hockey dad whose sons Nick and Anthony are elite level roller players here in town: “I am going to pick New England. Tom Brady is the difference in this game.

Eddie Samuels, AA Las Vegas Mustangs, BCHL Victoria Salsa, Billings Bulls, captain NAHL Fairbanks Ice Dogs: “New England wins 34-27. Tom Brady will not lose two Super Bowls in a row. That, I promise.”

Hockey mom Mary Margaret Samuels whose son Eddie played for the 2001-02 AA Las Vegas Mustangs and whose grandson Jimmy also skates: “I am very upset about the air pressure situation in those Patriots footballs. I think it’s bad for children when someone cheats. They should replay the game with the Colts and reschedule the Super Bowl. Is that possible? No? Then, good luck to the Seahawks. We are planning a party and everyone will wear forest green.”

Micah Sanford, Las Vegas scoreking and head coach of the Las Vegas Storm Bantam AA team: “Patriots, because of Tom Brady.”

Doug Schilletter, Las Vegas hockey dad whose son Drew plays for the Arizona Hockey Union hockey 18u club:  “Patriots 27-21. Not that I will get to watch the game. Drew’s AHU Knights U18 team is headed to Detroit for the Mid-Winter AAA Classic Classic. We will be on an airplane during the game.”

Pete Trimboli, Las Vegas hockey dad whose son Mike is a top defenseman for Top 10 ranked Utah State: “Seattle 24-21 – Better Defense Wins It.”

Hockey dad Scott Zucker who is the most famous of all hockey dads here in town: “Patriots will win 28-24 because Madden NFL 15 says so!”
