Las Vegas – The WSHL Las Vegas Storm opens a three-game home series – their final games of the season – when they take on the WSHL Arizona Hawks at the Las Vegas Ice Center on Flamingo Avenue tonight – Thursday – at 7 pm on the North Rink.

Hometown Las Vegas players for the Storm include Vito Carlo, ‘All Heart’ award winner Jake McKenna, Richard Prekop and Cody Parker.  Goalie Andre Spens is scheduled to start tonight against the Hawks who last weekend upset the WSHL Long Beach Bombers to get the last available spot in the upcoming playoffs.

The Storm’s lineup tonight will include ultra skilled VegasHockey Defenseman of the Year Nikita Tsvetov. Nikita, 19, is from Russia, and is listed at 5’10, 165 on  This is his second season with the Storm. His career statistics here total 9 goals, 27 assists.

The three-game series here includes games on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Ice Center.
