Las Vegas –  One of their best players – Filip Hedvall, 20, from Sweden – will be honored tonight by the WSHL Las Vegas Storm in a pre-game, on-ice ceremony at the Las Vegas Ice Center.

Hedvall, a ’95, is a top line player with 10 goals, 14 assists this season. He is one of six graduating Las Vegas players who will be introduced onto the ice before the Storm takes on the WSHL Arizona Hawks in their final game of the season. Hedvall prevously skated with the WSHL Salt Lake City Moose before being dealt to Las Vegas.

Las Vegas graduating players include hometown skater Richard Prekop. One of the Storm’s hardest workers on the ice, Kody Holmes from San Diego, is also graduating.

“These are good players who will be missed,” said Las Vegas coach Gabe Gauthier.

The Storm vs the Arizona Hawks game tonight begins 6 pm. The game will be on the North Rink.
