Canton, N.Y. –  It took two OTs but Joe Sullivan of Las Vegas and #18 ranked St. Lawrence University beat Clarkson 3-2 to win an ECAC Best of Three Series two games to none before 2838 on home ice at the Appleton Arena. Joe and St. Lawrence will head for Lake Placid N.Y. next weekend and will take on the winner of the Quinnipiac vs Cornell series which is tied 1-1. Their decisive game will be played this Sunday.

Bowling Green, Ohio – It was a tight game for two periods, then Bowling Green erupted for four goals to beat Bemidji State 7-2 before 1775 at the BGSU Ice Arena. Four of Bowling Green’s goals were on powerplays. The WCHA Best of Three series is tied 1-1 with the decisive game for Cory Ward of Las Vegas and Bemidji State will be here on Sunday.

Kamloops BC – Gage Quinney of Las Vegas scorched his 28th goal of the season for the WHL Kamloops Blazers who tied the Vancouver Giants 1-1 in regulation, then won 2-1 in an OT/Shootout. It was a season-high seventh straight win for Kamloops. The crowd was big – 5664 at the Sandman Centre.  Gage has a WHL career-best 28 goals, 28 assists for 56 points in his awesome season.

Madison, Wisconsin –  The season came to a close for Sarah Robello of Las Vegas when the Mercyhurst women’s hockey team lost 6-0 to a powerful #2 ranked Wisconsin in a NCAA Final 8 playoff game before 2723 at the LaBahn Arena.
