There are two important, decisive playoff games on Sunday

//Cory Ward of Las Vegas and Bemidji State are at Bowling Green in the BGSU ice Arena in Ohio to a decisive WCHA Game Three today 7 pm eastern.  Cory and Bemidji State won 3-1 in Game One on Friday, Bowling Green won 7-2 on Saturday night. Cory, a senior, has 9 goals, 10 assists this season. He is the first Las Vegas player to skate for Bemidji State.

//Daniel Nicholas of Las Vegas and the NOJHL Espanola Express are on home ice today in Canada against the Soo Eagles. Daniel and the Express must win to stay alive in the Best of Three series.  Soo won 11-0 in the opening game on Friday night at the Pullar Stadium in Saulte St. Marie, Michigan. Faceoff on Sunday is at 2 pm eastern at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex. The winner of this series gets #1 seed and a powerful force in the Soo Thunderbirds.


Kenny Brooks of Las Vegas and #14-ranked Penn State will take on Wisconsin in a Big 10 Tournament playoff game on Thursday at the Excel Energy Center in Minnesota. Penn State is in a 6-team field. Michigan State wlll face Ohio State on Thursday. The winners of these two games advance to the Big Ten Final Four.


Brendan Harris of Las Vegas and the BCHL Wenatchee Wild will next take on the BCHL Chilliwack Chiefs in the playoffs.  Those game dates will be announced. Wenatchee eliminated the BCHL Langley Chiefs in the first round.
