Wayne, N.J. –  Justin Brooks and Cody Printzen each scored two goals as the Micah Sanford-coached AA Nevada Storm 16u team out-battled the Atlanta-Phoenix, Ga. team 6-4 in the opening game of the U.S. Nationals here at the Ice Vault Arena.

Coach Micah said “…our work ethic and determination was probably the best it has been all year. Early in the game there were a lot of penalities called mostly against us. But we stayed focused and took care of business.”

Storm goalie Anthony Bonaldi faced 43 shots and had 39 saves to get the big win.

On Friday the AA Nevada Storm 16u will take on the Alaska Jr Aces who lost today 3-1 to the Sylvania North Stars of Ohio.

Charlotte, N.C. – Goalie Luke Fundator had an awesome game to help the AA Nevada Storm 14u bantam team beat Arizona Hockey Union Silver 3-1 in the opening game of the U.S. Nationals at the Extreme Ice Center.

John Hallet, Joseph Terrana (powerplay) and Noah McAnallen scored for Las Vegas.

Luke, in the net, had a 95.5% save percentage.

The AA Nevada Storm bantams are coached by Matt Johnson. On Friday the Storm will take on the Montana Thunderblades.
