Kamloops BC – Facing elimination, Gage Quinney of Las Vegas had one of his greatest performances at any level he’s played on: Gage scored two quick goals for the WHL Kamloops Blazers, added an assist and was named the #1 Star of the Game in a 4-0 win over the defending champions WHL Kelowna Rockets. The crowd was a big one – 4130 at the Sandman Centre.

With 14 seconds to play, Kamloops fans stood and roared reported beat writer and top hockey columnist Gregg Drinnan.

“This series is a blast,” said Gage who played for the WHL Kelowna Rockets last season.

Gage scored his 32nd, 33rd goals of the season. In playoff action this season he has 4 goals, 6 assists. For the season Gage has 33 goals, 34 assists for 67 points. He is in his final WHL season.

Game Seven of this all-out riveting series will be at Kelowna on Monday night.
