Kamloops BC –  Gage Quinney of Las Vegas and his career in the Western Hockey Hockey League came to a close dramatically in a Game Seven 2-1 OT loss to the defending champions Kelowna Rockets on a clear, chilly Monday night.

Gage played for three WHL teams –  the WHL Prince Albert Raiders, WHL Kelowna Rockets and this season with the Don Hay-coached WHL Kamloops Blazers. Totalled Gage played in 182 regular season games, 26 playoff games and had a total of 62 goals, 79 assists for 141 points. 

Gage’s younger brother Landon is playing for the WHL Moose Jaw Warriors who are still alive in the WHL playoffs.
