Thursday update for Cedar Rapids

Logan Sussman scored two goals and Ian Davis got the game-winner for the UNLV Rebels roller team in a 3-2 win over Bethel. Darren Corsatea had two assists as the Rebels raised their record here to 2-1-0 and advanced to the playoffs on Friday. UNLV will take on West Chester today.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – The high-powered UNLV Rebels roller team, the Western champions, are 1-1-0 at the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Nationals at the Cedar Rapids Arena. UNLV won its first game 7-4, then lost an all-out battle 3-2 to defending national champion Neumann.

UNLV will take on the Bethel University Wildcats here on Thursday.

UNLV went 20-2-0 during the regular season. Terry Martin is the goalie for UNLV.  Adam Tamura, a former star roller player from Las Vegas, and Jared Joerger are the coaches.
