Ontario, Ca –  “We are preparing for a rough, physical weekend,” said GM/head coach Gabe Gauthier whose WSHL Las Vegas Storm opens a three-game road series vs rival Ontario Avalanche on Friday night (8 pm faceoff) at the Center Ice Arena.

Storm defenseman Nick Peck returns to the lineup tonight. Goalie Andre Spens will start in Game One of this series. The Storm’s young star goalie Rhett Bruckner however is not available this weekend.

Las Vegas is 8-9-1 overall and 4-5-0 in road games. Since Las Vegas rocked and beat Ontario 6-3 a few weeks ago the Avalanche has lost six straight games. The high scoring Eric Williams of Las Vegas is captain of the Ontario Avalanche.
