Las Vegas –  UNLV, on Teddy Bear Toss Night, crushed its long-time rival San Jose State 8-1 to raise its season record to 20-3-0 at the SoBe Ice Arena on Saturday night. It was the final game of the first semester for the Rebels who set a team record for most wins in the first half of the season. UNLV’s giant goal scorer Cody Williams scored twice to give him 24 goals this season. He had 39 goals last year.

UNLV head coach Anthony Greener said “…those were two good two wins this weekend. We are now the first team in the West with 20 wins. Good to see. I am excited to see what the second half of the season brings us.”
