St. Paul, Minnesota – Jason Zucker of Las Vegas had one of his greatest games – an all-out tremendous skate plus one goal, one assist – to help the NHL Minnesota Wild take apart and beat the Florida Panthers 5-1 before a sold out crowd of 18,754 at the Xcel Energy Center.  It was the 5th straight win for Minnesota.

Jason, near the right post late in the game, sent a pass over to an open Mikko Koivu who shot an elevated blast high into the net for a goal. A few moments later Jason shook loose, drove towards the left side, skated across just outside the Florida crease area and backhanded a shot cleanly inside of the right post.  Jonas Brodin and Matt Dumba got the assists. Florida goalie Roberto Luongo was removed from the game following Jason’s goal.

Jason has 6 goals, 11 assists this season.  Minnesota is off to a great start at 16-8-1 and is in second place in its division.
