Montreal – In a high action pressure game Jason Zucker of Las Vegas dealt an assist to set up one goal and then scored a spectacular short-handed goal to help the NHL Minnesota Wild beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-2 before a sold out crowd of 21,288 at the Bell Center.

With the clock ticking town in the final moments Jason gathered in a loose puck and burned down the ice along the right sideboards to out-skate two Montreal defensemen, then angle in and score his 7th goal of the season with 0:33 left to play into an empty net. Earlier he was down low near the Montreal net and fired a pass over to linemate Jared Spurgeon who scored. Jason played over 17 minutes in this game for Minnesota which raised its season record to 20-8-4 with a team-record 9 straight wins.

Next Jason and the Wild head to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Rangers on Friday evening. The Rangers lead the NHL in most wins with 23.
