Wheeling, West Virginia –  Gage Quinney of Las Vegas had one his greatest games in pro hockey – one goal, three assists, a Star of the Game award – for the ECHL Wheeling Nailers in a 7-6 OT win over the Toledo Walleye.  Gage’s last assist was a game-winner, a pass over to linemate Christian Hilbrich who scored in overtime. Gage now has 6 goals, 15 assists for 21 points. The crowd was 1638 at the Wesbanco Arena.

Norfolk, Virginia – In a battle of former Las Vegas teammates Cory Ward got the goal but Zach Pochiro’s team got the win here Wednesday night.  Cory scored his 9th goal this season for the ECHL Manchester Monarchs who lost 4-3 to Zach and the ECHL Norfolk Admirals before 1789 at the Norfolk Scope Arena.

Langley BC –  Brendan Harris of Las Vegas assisted on the only goal for the BCHL Wenatchee Wild in a rare loss, this one 7-1 to the Langley Rivermen. Wenatchee has clinched a playoff spot with a record of 35-7-4. Langley’s record is 23-15-5.  Brendan leads the BCHL in scoring with 19 goals, 61 assists for 80 points. The crowd was 544 at the George Preston Arena. Outside the rink doors during the game it was clear, cold, in the mid 30s.
