There was plenty of game action on Sunday as we head into Super Bowl Week

ECHL

Final score – Chris Francis of Las Vegas one goal, one assist, #1 Star of the Game for the Quad City Mallards in a 5-1 win over the Indy Fuel before 2431 at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. It was Chris’ 14th goal this season and his second straight #1 Star of the Game in Indianapolis.

Final Score – Gage Quinney of Las Vegas 1 goal, 2 assists for the Wheeling Nailers in a 5-4 road loss to the Wheeling Nailers before 1715 at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Gage has 7 goals, 18 assists this season.

Final Score – Cory Ward of Las Vegas and Manchester Monarchs had more shots 23-6 in the third period during a 6-3 road loss to the Reading, Pa. Royals before 3035 at Santander Arena.

NA3HL

Final Score – Vito Carlo, Michael Cichy of Las Vegas and Atlanta Capitals lose a road game 4-2 at Nashville Jr Predators. Atlanta is 25-10-0 overall, is a division leader and has clinched a playoff spot.

NOJHL

Final Score – Adrian Nicholas of Las Vegas scored his 5th goal of the season and was selected the #3 Star of the Game for the French River Rapids in a 5-2 loss to the Cochrane Crunch. The game was played in Noelville, Ontario, Canada. Adrian has 5 goals, 1 assist this season.

AA 16u

Final Score –  Braden Laplaca 2 goals, Dominick Panzarella one goal in a 3-3 tie with visiting Arizona Hockey Union. Goalies Luke Fundator and Owen Kennedy split time in the net.  Storm 16s go 1-1-1 for the weekend at the SoBe Arena on North Rancho Drive, Las Vegas.
