“These are must win games for us,” coach Gabe Gauthier said as his WSHL Las Vegas Storm heads to Arizona to take on the WSHL Phoenix Knights in a three-game series beginning Friday night. These will be be the final regular season games for Las Vegas which is 22-22-5, locked in for the playoffs but there is a reason coach Gauthier says these games are so important.

Gauthier explained “yes we are qualified for the playoffs but we want better positioning going into them.”

The weekend games beginning Friday evening will be at Arizona Ice in Gilbert, Arizona. These will be the final games of the season for Phoenix.

The top line for Las Vegas on Friday night will be big goal scorers Isaiah Letendre, Sam Sykes and Nikita Pintusov.  Goalie Spencer Kozlowski of Las Vegas is one of the best in the WSHL.

The start time for the Friday and Saturday games is 7 pm. The Sunday game will be 1 pm.

Las Vegas top goal scorers are Nikita Pintusov with 38 – which is a team record for most goals in a season –  Isaiah Letendre 30, Jeffery Morgan 28, Ted Astrom 20, Sam Sykes 19, Alex Roth 18.
