Gilbert, Arizona –  Jean-Christophe Lachapelle scored three times included a short-handed goal and defenseman Jake McKenna had a short-handed goal in the WSHL Las Vegas Storm’s crushing 14-3 win over the WSHL Phoenix Knights at Arizona Ice.

Lachapelle scored all of his three goals in a row to help Las Vegas raise its season record to a best-ever 23-22-5. Goalie Brooks DiMarino got the win.

This was the third time this season Las Vegas scored 14 goals which is the most the Storm has scored in any game this season. Earlier this year Las Vegas beat the Arizona Hawks 14-2, 14-0.

Game two vs the Phoenix Knights is here at Arizona Ice on Saturday evening with a 7 pm opening faceoff.
