North Andover, Massachusetts – Michael McNicholas of Las Vegas scored the first goal of the game and added two assists to help New Hampshire University stun and eliminate Merrimack 5-2 in a road game here at Lawlor Arena. New Hampshire won the Hockey East opening round playoff series 2 games to 1. Michael, who got a #2 Star of the Game, and New Hampshire U advance in the playoffs. Michael has 13 goals, 30 assists for 43 points this season.

Fort Wayne, Indiana – Gage Quinney of Las Vegas and the ECHL Wheeling Nailers scored his 11th goal in a 2-1 loss to the Fort Wayne Komets. Gage has 11 goals, 23 assists this season. The crowd was 8193 at the Memorial Coliseum.

Wenatchee, Washington – Brendan Harris of Las Vegas scored twice – his 24th, 25th goals of the season – and had an assist for the BCHL Wenatchee Wild in a 6-1 win over the BCHL Prince George Spruce Kings in Game Two of their Best of Seven playoff series. The Sunday night crowd was 3051 at the Town Toyota Center. Wenatchee, coached by Bliss Littler, leads the Best of Seven two games to none.

Sandy Springs, Ga – The ‘Vegas Connection’ of Vito Carlo and Michael Cichy each had assists for the NA3HL Atlanta Capitals in a 7-0 win over College Station Spirit at the Center Ice Arena. Las Vegas hockey moms Rosie and Pat were at the games this weekend to see their sons in action.
