Sunrise, Fla – Jason Zucker of Las Vegas opened the game with his 21st goal, then added an assist to help the NHL Minnesota Wild beat the Florida Panthers 7-4 before 16,232 at the BB&T Center on Friday night. Jason scored while his younger brother Cameron was playing for the AAA Nevada Storm 16u team back home in Las Vegas against the AAA LA Jr Kings in a Pacific District Regional game at the Las Vegas Ice Center. Jason has 21 goals, 24 assists and is +33 on the ice this season. Minnesota is now 43-17-6. Jason and the Wild are off to Chicago to play the Blackhawks on Sunday.

Wheeling, West Virginia – In a game with three Las Vegas players in action Chris Francis and the ECHL Quad City Mallards won 3-0 over the ECHL Wheeling Nailers who had Gage Quinney and Ross McMullan of Las Vegas in the lineup before 2715 at the Wesbanco Arena on Friday night. Quad City raised its record to 33-21-1. Wheeling is 28-24-6.
