Las Vegas – It’s all official now. The NHL Vegas Golden Knights have united with the Nevada Storm youth hockey program. It was announced at a press conference today. Kirk and John Brooks of the Las Vegas Ice Center and the Nevada Storm youth hockey program said the new hometown youth teams will be called the Vegas Junior Knights and include teams from the mite level to midget level and will be on all three rinks in town – the Las Vegas Ice Center, SoBe Ice Arena and the Golden Knights practice facility. Kirk Brooks stated in a news release “we are really excited to partner with the Golden Knights and the opportunity to take Nevada youth hockey to a new level.” There will be a seven-member executive board who will overlook the new organization it was announced.
