Jason Zucker’s first goal years ago with the NHL Minnesota Wild

Jason Zucker of the NHL Minnesota Wild grew up Las Vegas. His father Scott took him to meet Larrry Sanford at the Crystal Palace Roller Rink when Jason was 3 1/2 years old. Jason, like many Las Vegas star skaters, played roller hockey first and then went to ice hockey. Jason’s last ice hockey team here in town was the AAA Nevada Storm 16u coached by Wally Lacroix at the Las Vegas Ice Center. Jason was 14 1/2 years old. His older brothers Evan and Adam played hockey and his younger brother Cameron plays for the NA3HL Lansing Wolves. Jason’s sister Kimmie has always been a very popular skater in town. Jason’s mother Natalie has been a Team Mom on many hockey clubs in Las Vegas. There are banners of Jason hung with care at the SoBe Ice Arena and the Las Vegas Ice Center.  A Jason Zucker signed ‘To Larry Sanford’ game used hockey stick is framed and up on the south wall at the ‘Little Home of Champions’ Crystal Palace roller rink on North Rancho Drive in Las Vegas. Jason, years ago on Vegashockey.net, was voted as the greatest Las Vegas hockey player of all time.
