Innsbruck, Austria – The show can begin. The Innsbruck Sharks start on Friday (7:15 pm / Tiroler Wasserkraftarena) with great expectations in the new season. In the opening match against the HCB South Tyrol tension is guaranteed.
Shark coach Rob Pallin is still relaxed. And yet, a first tension is the US-American clearly to note. No wonder the 50-year-old is clearly looking forward to the big home-away match against the HCB South Tyrol. “We are ready. And what better way to start with a derby? “Pallin knows. After a turbulent preparation, the expectation is still quite high for him and his team. He wipes his first doubts from his surroundings. “Maybe some people think that last year we were lucky. But that is wrong. We have worked hard for every spark and we will do so this year. “
New entry Jesse Mychan can also hardly expect the start and expects a very tough fight. “Bolzano certainly has a good team. But we did. We are ready to give it all. “There is, of course, not a lot of evidence from all the other teams in the league at this time. For Coach Pallin and his men but also not a big problem. “We know how to play and what we can do. I do not want to deal with other teams too much, “said the Haie coach.
Captain Tyler Spurgeon takes himself and his colleagues to the start. “Everyone knows what it takes in this game to be successful. We have a good team again, want to do a good job defensively. “
Newcomer Kevin Wehrs is celebrating his debut in the Shark’s dress on time for the first season. Apart from the defender Lubomir Stach (injured) all the men are on board.
