Eric Williams, a star defenseman who grew up playing youth hockey in Las Vegas, is skating this season for NCAA lll Chatham University in Pittsburgh. Eric will skate in a Purple and White scrimmage game this weekend at the Frozen Pond Arena in Pittsburgh. Chatham’s season officially opens in a game against Neumann on November 3. The teams will be playing in a new league – the United Colleges Hockey Conference.

Eric, 21, is listed at 6’1, 190. He was a team leader and an assistant captain with the WSHL Ontario Avalanche last season. He scored 11 goals – many of those from the point area.
