Salt Lake City – UNLV coach Anthony Greener reworked his lineup to help the Rebels beat Utah 5-1 and raise their season record to 17-8-0 here at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex on Saturday night. UNLV came here without some of their premier goal scorers due to injuries sustained in games during its three-game road weekend in North Dakota. 

UNLV goalie Alex Feese worked hard and effectively tonight. He won both games here which were his 5th, 6th wins of the season. UNLV is ranked #11 nationally in its debut season in ACHA D1.

Pre-Game Notebook

Salt Lake City – UNLV goalie Alex Feese will get the start for the second straight night against Utah here Saturday night at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex. 

“Lots of snow last night and the line of Pearson, Brett and Lawson had its best game of the year scoring 4 of our 6 goals,” said UNLV’s head coach Anthony Greener.

“The only lineup change for Saturday night is putting Riley Williams into the game,” Greener added.

UNLV premier defenseman Jonas Gordon moves up as a forward. Gordon and Jake Kearley were voted Best Defensemen of the Year here on Vegas Hockey.
