Minot, ND – Beau Ricketts, the great goal scorer from Las Vegas, and his Minot First Western Bank club team “got stuck at the Wilmot, SD rest stop for 17 hours due to a lot of snow” this weekend.  Beau said the players flagged down a driver of a snow plow who got them to a local gas station.  At the rest stop Beau and the players got food and cots to wait out the storm.

Beau’s team plays home games at The Fairgrounds and Maysa Arena in Minot.

Beau scored six goals in a game last week playing with his team in the Minot Area Senior League.

They are going to a tournament in Bismarck during the March 9-11 weekend.
