Breaking News…..

Gage Quinney, 22, of Las Vegas has signed a two year entry level deal with the NHL Vegas Golden Knights. Gage had been playing in the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins system. He had 33 points – 14 goals, 19 assists – last season with the AHL Wilkes Barre/Scranton, Pa. Penguins.

Gage is listed at 5’11, 200. He last played in Las Vegas for an AAA Las Vegas Storm 18u team in 2012-13 at the Las Vegas Ice Center. His younger brother Landon last season skated for the Saint John Seadogs in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Gage’s father Ken Quinney played in the NHL with the Quebec Nordiques and then was a star goal scorer five seasons with the IHL Las Vegas Thunder who played home games at the Thomas and Mack Center.

The Vegas Golden Knights are affiliated with the AHL Chicago Wolves.
