Macon, Georgia – Goal scorer Derek Sutliffe of Las Vegas has signed with Macon Mayhem in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). Derek, 26, will be playing his 3rd straight season in this league. Last winter he collectively had 14 goals, 17 assists while playing for the SPHL Mississippi RiverKings and the ECHL Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

After playing in AAA tier hockey in Las Vegas, Derek played a season with NAHL Fresno Monsters. He was then recruited by the famous Roy Henderson to skate with BCHL Langley Rivermen for two seasons. After his junior hockey career came to a close Derek played four seasons with NCAA College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota.

Derek is listed at 6’1″ 190.


Vito Carlo, 20, of Las Vegas is planning to return to the NA3HL Atlanta Capitals in Sandy Springs, Ga. this coming season.

Defenseman Anthony Rodriguez, 17, of Las Vegas is listed on roster of the WSHL Long Beach Bombers.
