Adam Stio, team owner and GM of the Las Vegas Cavalry last season, is the new General Manager of the Evansville Thunderbolts who play in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). Adam said one of the rostered players is Stefan Brucato who is the brother of Las Vegas skater Kody Holmes “who was my go to player with the Cavalry.”¬†

“This opportunity is a dream come true,” Adam said.

Adam previously was GM of a roller rink in Las Vegas which had many high level tournaments. More recently he was the owner and GM of the Las Vegas Calvary professional ice hockey team which played before big hometown crowds at the City National Arena near the Red Rock Hotel-Casino.

The Evansville team plays its home games at the Ford Center. The season will open vs Knoxville on October 19.
