Las Vegas – Vincent Dekumbis, a dynamic 48-goal scorer and a WSHL All-Star when he played for Gabe Gauthier’s WSHL Las Vegas Storm, has committed to NCAA D3 Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Vincent, 20, of Switzerland played two seasons in Las Vegas 2014-15 and 2015-16 where he was always on the top line and scored some of the greatest goals from a variety of distances during the Storm’s junior hockey history at the Las Vegas Ice Center.

In January, 2016, Vincent won the WSHL’s Fastest Skater award at the All-Star game in Oklahoma City.

He was voted the 2016 Vegas Hockey Player of the Year.

Near the end of 2015-16 Dekumbis was dealt to a playoff team WSHL Valencia Flyers. Later he played for the NAHL Texas Jr Brahmas and then with the NA3HL Lone Star Brahmas.
