Salt Lake City – UNLV captain Cody Williams scored two goals – his 7th and 8th of the season – to help the #12-ranked UNLV Rebels beat Utah University 6-4 and raise their season record to 5-0-0 here at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex on Friday night. Jake Saxe, Eric Williams and Bryce Woodward also scored for UNLV. Goalie Jesse Gordichuk of UNLV got the win.  Rebel Joe Kaszupski had three assists.

Cody Williams now has 87 career goals for UNLV.

Utah has a season record of 2-1-0.

Salt Lake City – UNLV Rebels head coach Anthony Greener said goalie Jesse Gordichuk will get the start tonight in the big road game against 2-0-0 Utah University here at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex. Faceoff is 7:30 pm local time.

Gordichuk, 24, is listed at 6’1, 190. This season he has a 1-0-0 record with a 2.00 gaa. Jesse is from Penticton, Canada. Last season he was goalie for the University of Alabama ACHA team.
