Saint Paul, Minnesota – Jason Zucker of Las Vegas rocketed down the ice on a breakaway and then feathered a back-hand shot which sent the puck cleanly into the net to lift the NHL Minnesota Wild to a dramatic 4-3 OT win over heated rival Chicago Blackhawks before a sold out crowd of 18,652 at the Xcel Energy Center on Thursday night.

It was Zach Parise who made a long pass to Jason who took off and went straight for the net. Jason scored earlier and had an assist in this game. The two goals lifted his career total to 103 scored in the NHL.

Jason and the Wild came into the game 0-1-1 and needed a win badly.

“We all wanted to play well tonight and get the win,” Jason said after the game.

Jason’s first goal was from close-range as well. He is a sniper when close to the net, particularly during one on one showdowns vs a NHL level goalie.

Chicago, in its 4th straight overtime game, is now 2-0-2.
