Special to Vegas Hockey

Cory Ward and Joe Sullivan of Las Vegas played together on an AAA Nevada Stars 16u team in 2009-10 at the Las Vegas Ice Center and then played together two seasons with the NAHL Aberdeen Wings. Now the two are back together again as an ultra force for the ECHL Manchester Monarchs.

Manchester is a top club in the ECHL, an affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings.

Back in 2009-10 Cory scored 16 goals and Joe Sullivan had 11 goals in AAA level hockey for the Nevada Stars.

They took different routes in collegiate hockey. Cory was a big goal scorer at NCAA Bemidji State and Joe was a star player and a captain for NCAA St. Lawrence University.

Now they are back on the ice as teammates one more time.
