Special to Vegas Hockey

The UNLV Rebels will be on a 6 am flight tomorrow – Wednesday – to head for North Dakota. The Rebels will land in Bismarck, N.D. and then bus over to Jametown, N.D. where they will stay for the night. UNLV is scheduled to take on the Jamestown Jimmies ACHA D1 team – who are unbeaten 4-0-0 on home ice – on Thurday night. Then the Rebels will be off to take on rival Minot State for a two-game weekend series Friday and Saturday. It’s is cold – in the high 30s – which isn’t that bad for this area. There is a bit of snow on the ground but not much.

UNLV head coach Anthony Greener said Cody Williams, Joe Kazupski and Bryce Woodward will be on the top line against Jamestown. Goalie Jesse Gordichuk will start in the net Thursday evening.

“These three games will be a huge test for our program,” Greener said. “We are excited to go there and get these games started. We will have pre-game team skates in both cities.”

Here is the Rebels road schedule

Nov 9 – at Minot State (4-4-0) – Maysa Arena, North Dakota
