Kindersley, Saskatchewan – Down 3-0 in a Best of Seven and facing quick elimination, defenseman Steven Avalone of Las Vegas and the SJHL Kindersely Klippers out-battled the Melfort Mustangs 2-1 in OT to keep their season going Tuesday night at the West Central Events Center. Game Five will be on Friday night when the Kindlersley Klippers play vs Melfort on their home ice at the Northern Lights Palace.

Kindersley, Saskatchwan – The SJHL Melfort Mustangs scored late to win 4-3 over the Kindersley Klippers – who include premier Las Vegas defenseman Steven Avalone – to take a three games to none lead in their Best of Seven playoff series here at the West Central Events Center. This was a 3-3 game going into the third period.

Aidan McNabb, 18, of Las Vegas has signed with a top team – the WSHL Bellingham Blazers – and in his first eight games Aidan has 5 goals, 3 assists for 8 points. The Blazers are a top playoff bound team in the Western States Hockey League. Aidan in 2016-17 played for the AAA Las Vegas Storm 16u, then with the WSHL Las Vegas Storm at the Las Vegas Ice Center.
