Star goal scorer Zach Pochiro of Las Vegas on a power move while with ECHL Allen Americans in Texas

Big goal scorer Zach Pochiro of Las Vegas has signed to play this season with Esbjerg Energy which plays in the Metal Ligaen – the highest professional level in Danish hockey. The Energy plays home games at their 4,000-seat Granly Ice Arena. Mark Pederson is the head coach.

Last season Zach, 25, was a star 34-goal scorer for the ECHL Allen Americans.

In 2013 Zach was drafted by the NHL St Louis Blues in the fourth round.

He played here in Las Vegas with the AAA Nevada Stars 16u 2009-10 at the Las Vegas Ice Center. He then played for the AAA L.A. Jr Kings 16u in 2010-11.
