Jimmy Samuels of Las Vegas will return to the ACHA D3 Kansas University ice hockey team in a new role this season. He will handle KU’s recruiting efforts and during the regular season will do game film breakdowns. He was president of KU last season when the Jayhawks – a powerful force who were unbeaten on home ice – went to the ACHA D3 Nationals. KU opens the season this weekend in two road games vs tough rival Creighton at the Ralston Arena in Nebraska. Jimmy is majoring in Filmmaking at KU.
