London – Jimmy Samuels, who played roller and ice hockey while growing in Las Vegas, won a solid gold trophy for Best New Old School Runescape Video Maker  – the Golden Gnome Award – here at the annual RuneFest Festival today. Jimmy majors in Video/Film Production at Kansas University. In Las Vegas one of Jimmy’s best rink friends is Vito Carlo and also he was best friend with the late great hockey dad Tommy Ricketts. Jimmy’s grandmother is Mary Margaret Samuels, mother of Las Vegas star goal scorer Eddie Samuels. While growing up Jimmy played roller hockey at Crystal Palace ‘The Little Home of Champions’ on North Rancho Drive.
