Las Vegas – When in doubt give the puck to Paxton Malone. And that’s what the UNLV Rebels did with about 3 minutes to play. The puck went over to Malone who scored to help the Rebels beat pesky Grand Canyon University by 3-1 on Friday night. The win raised UNLV’s season record to 5-1-0.  Jake Saxe and Jayson Dimizio scored for the Rebels earlier in the game. UNLV had more shots 46-20. The two teams play again here Saturday night at City National Arena.
