Special to Vegas Hockey
Las Vegas – The Pokey Reddick-coached Faith Lutheran Crusaders High School ice hockey team will take on Brophy Prep – historically a very strong team from Phoenix – in their home opener Friday, November 1 at City National Arena. Last season Faith Lutheran drew sellout crowds at City National. Earlier Faith Lutheran opened this season on the road losing 7-4, 5-2, then staggered and beat the Uintah Utes – a strong D1 high school team – by 10-0.
Coach Pokey said this year’s Faith Lutheran team is much deeper, more faster.
Faceoff for Faith Lutheran’s November 1 home opening game will be 7 pm.
Craig Thornton is the manager of Faith Lutheran’s hockey operations.
