Tomas Urbanec of the WSHL Las Vegas Thunderbirds scored his 136th career WSHL record-breaking breaking goal in the win over the Valencia Flyers last night. Tomas, 20, and listed at 6’2, 180, did practically all of that goal scoring for the WSHL Long Beach Bombers. When the Bombers shut down their hockey operations he was acquired by the Thunderbirds. Tonight – Saturday – Tomas and the undefeated Thunderbirds continue their weekend road trip playing the WSHL San Diego Sabers at the famous Escondido Ice-Plex, 8:15 pm.
