Las Vegas – WSHL Commissioner Ron White said the league will be adding more teams next season including “one from Tahoe, others from Western Canada.”

“A Tahoe team is coming in for sure,’ Ron said at the Las Vegas Ice Center. “Two, many three more teams from Canada. It’s exciting news.”

There are 21 teams including the WSHL Las Vegas Thunderbirds in the league right now.

After their last game at the Las Vegas Ice Center El Paso players got into a large team bus to head for Texas.

The driver said “13 hours on the road.

“Our first stop will be in Kingman, Arizona and from there we head right to our home rink in El Paso.

“Vegas isn’t our longest trip. It will take us 14 hours to get from El Paso to Wichita later this season.”
