Portland, Maine – Michael McNicholas of Las Vegas dealt a key assist – a sharp pass to linemate Brandon Crawley who scored – to help the ECHL Maine Mariners tie the Jacksonville Ice Men 2-2 in the second period. Then late in the game Jacksonville scored to win 3-2 before a crowd of 2020. Outside the Cross Arena during the game the temp was an icy 34 degrees with snow showers.
