Lake Tahoe – Faith Lutheran H.S. Crusader alum Matthew ‘Matty’ Johnson of Las Vegas and the ACHA D2 Boise State Broncos beat San Diego State 3-1 here last night to advance in the Pac 8 playoffs. Matt and Boise State will next play today in a Pac 8 Final 4 game against Cal. The gold medal game is scheduled here on Sunday. A hard worker on the ice Matt is now playing on the second line with Boise State. He has 14 points this season.
