Las Vegas – As UNLV’s regular season hits the blue twilight zone this weekend – just four regular season games are left – the Rebels are about to take on #14 ranked Arizona State tonight which will unquestionably be UNLV’s Moment of Truth for this season.

UNLV dearly wants to win these weekend games and get locked into the ACHA D1 Nationals.

And so does Arizona State which is coming into town with a 21-7-4 record. UNLV’s season record is 16-12-1.

“ASU and Arizona (ranked #5) are very similiar,” said UNLV head coach Anthony Greener. “Both are hard-working, physical teams.

“We need to put our best foot forward and have our defense grind them down – just like we did last Friday night against Arizona.

“One thing where we have to be better is in our defensive zone coverage.”

UNLV’s top line is a great one – Jake Saxe, Kirk Underwood and John Moeller will be starting Friday.

UNLV’s premier goalie Dave Anderson will start in the net.

Game time is 7 pm.
