Las Vegas – Rosemarie Elizabeth Carlo – better known as the very popular Las Vegas hockey mom Rosie Carlo who was always at the rinkboards on game nights watching her goal scoring son Vito Carlo do his magical things on the ice. This went on for years at all levels of Vito’s games.
Rosie Carlo passed this week, a tremendous loss not only to her family but the entire Las Vegas hockey community.
She was 55.
Her sons are Michael 28, Vito 21.
Vito said “This week has been the toughest challenge of my life.
“I lost my best friend, my super hero and my momma bear.
“You Mom are the strongest, smartest, hardest working woman I ever met. I know I was a handful growing up but you got me through my toughest times. I know that you are the biggest key and reason why I am where I am today.
“All of those early morning wake ups to get to school on time, hockey tryouts across the country, early morning practices and the games you drove me to. I can go on and on for a lifetime.
“You are my Super Hero.
“You drove me to be the best I can be.
“I cannot thank you enough for that. I promise none of that will be wasted. I will go back to school, get my education and play the sport you supported me through my entire life.
“I love you Mom.”
