Game 1 Friday night at 10:30pm

Game saw many penalties and with Bakersfield taking 20 penalties and receiving 3 game misconducts the Storm won 6-4 with Zane Branson in goal for the win. Kyle Molony was the star with 4 goals Jake Mckenna with a goal and a helper and Patrick Voors and Tsubasa Otomo each with an assist.

Game 2 Saturday morning at 10:45am

In the second game against the game was much better but started getting very chippy at the end and saw the Storm Midgets prevail 6-5 with Jacob Paul getting the win in goal. Storms scoring was led by Brenden Fehlig and goals by Kyle Molony, Kale Norman, Yannick Pfister and Mikey Yochum. Jacob Wrzesinski had an amazing goal while being checked and falling to the ice – he still got the shot away while falling on his back as the puck went into the upper right corner.


In the 3rd game and chance to clinch the Storm Midget team found themselves down 2-0 after the first but exploded for 5 second period goals and then held on for a 5-4 victory over St Johns Bosco. Zane Branson was in net for the win. Kyle Molony, Cody Parker, Yannick Pfister, Brenden Fehlig and Jake Mckenna all had goals Brenden Fehlig also had two helpers and Yannick Pfister & Jake Mckenna each also had assist.

In the final game yesterday the Storm faced St. Johns Bosco again. This time leaving no doubt who the better team was jumping out to a 4-0 lead after 1 period and ending in a 7-2 victory. Jacob Paul was in net for the win.
